A dedication to Brandon Rueda, a former JOYA artist (a Cirque du Soleil show in the Riviera Maya in Mexico) who tragically passed away in 2023.

IMAGINATION JANE is a short art/dance video about a young woman whose imaginations reflects her struggle with isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.

RLP's, Paolo, shot this over two-3 hour days with Montreal-based dancer, Marie-France Jacques when the restrictions were lifted. Paolo and Marie-France strictly followed all pandemic safety guidelines.

It is part of a three-part series called Tin-Can Phone. The idea for this small one-man project was to get reconnected with other human beings during the peak of covid-19 times.

TRAGIC JOE is an Art film about a man who points at himself for the loss of his only child right before the pandemic lockdown. He finds solace through the mysterious appearance of a tin-can phone that leads him to find his lost child’s favourite toy. I shot this (with dancer/choreographer Roger Sinha) over a span of 4 hours when the mandatory pandemic isolation was lifted, and with proper safety protocols.
